Running Codex and Claude Code via CLI is very very slow on my computer when connected to my network at home. My initial resolution is to use a remote machine via ssh and git clone my repos there, but that feels like a circumvention rather than really fixing it. So I asked Claude to help me out, since I have no network knowledge. The solution is to switch from IPv6 to IPv4 on my MacBook; here is the whole situation summarized by Claude.
